A single-engine plane caught on fire after crashing Tuesday evening at Briscoe Field in Gwinnett County.
Gwinnett authorities say the pilot and a passenger crawled away from the wreckage before the plane caught on fire.
The two had minor injuries, according to Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Kathleen Bergen.
The twin-engine Swearingen belonged to Southland Leasing Co. of Spartanburg, S.C., and flew from Spartanburg's downtown airport to Briscoe Field and crashed shortly after touching down, Bergen said.
