2006-11-23: Atlanta Firefighter Trapped in Burning Building |

On November 23rd, 2006 an Atlanta firefighter was seriously burned and taken to Grady Hospital after a building collapsed while crews were battling a blaze.
The incident happened around 8:15 p.m. at a house fire across from 260 Elm Street in the Vine City community of east Atlanta.
While crews were battling the intense flames, the building began to collapse and firefighters were told to evacuate.
