I hear there is a good number of responders to an accident on GA 20 near PIB at this time. I also hear their is a school bus at the scene, but it is not clear to me if the bus is involved or simply at the scene.
If anyone has any news, I would appreciate.
I hear on the Fire Scanner a confirmed 48 on location, but I am not sure if this is related to this accident. One of the transmitters is very garbled and I cannot make out exactly what they are saying. _________________ The reason most people fail instead of succeed is because they trade what they want most, for what they want at the moment. |

| Didn't hear anything, but I went throught this intersection (turned south bound on PIB from West bound on 20) at about 10:00 and saw no remnants of an accident. No extra traffic or anything... |

| No paint that I could see, and I was looking. I read ZZ's original post before I walked out the door and was a little leary of heading in that direction. But no traffic or paint.. |

| It was 20 just west of PIB I believe... only minor injuries and no school buses involved. |

Thanks for that update Rookie. I was worried about that bus being involved. _________________ The reason most people fail instead of succeed is because they trade what they want most, for what they want at the moment. |

is there always paint on the ground at 41s with S48s? At the 41 with a S48 that happened just outside my neighborhood didnt have any paint on the ground. Just wondering. |

By S48 I assume you mean a Signal 48, person dead (according to the signals and codes for Gwinnett)? You should think it would behoove an officer to put paint down at a wreck where someone died... I guess it varies from department to department. From what I've seen, if there's a serious injury or fatality, they'll paint it.
We'll wait for a resident po-po to confirm or deny this. _________________ "The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government." - Thomas Jefferson |

| Yes, unless it was raining at the time there should be paint. It helps because we can go back and take measurements so that a scaled diagram can be drawn up for speed calculations. There's always something to mark, even if it's just the final rest of the vehicles. |
