Police in Buford

Why have I seen four Gwinnett County cops with their lights on flying through downtown Buford? What could be going on tonight..? Any answers. Very odd this was at 11:15-11:35PM

Not sure... but there's a helicopter and several police around the water plant area close to Buford Dam... probably the same ones as you saw. Any word on what's up?

We are on Buford Dam, police and helicopters around for last hour. We called Gwinnett Police non-emergency line. They confirmed it is a man hunt but could not give us any additional information except to stay indoors.

Anyone know what that was about lastnight in Buford? Did they find what they were looking for? My house was lit up and surrounded for about an hour, then they all left without a word. Made for a restless night!

Police caught a couple of robbery suspects. One ran, hints the manhunt. He was later located in a house in downtown Buford and surrendered without incident.
