Can anybody shed any light on the lawfullness/unlawfullness of a half way house being located in a neighborhood? I ask this because I was approached by a man last evening while I was doing yard work and after a few minutes he told me he had to spend 3 months at the house before he could resume his normal life on his own. I asked how many people lived in the house and he said 5 adults including him, the homeowners teen stepdaughter and a baby. The other adults are also in the program. The police and fire/ems have been to this home several times in the past, but I always assumed they had unstable family member living there, I didnt realize it was a revolving door of former inmates.

Time to contact the county with regard to the specific property address and verify its zoning. There have been a few proposals, perhaps the address you are concerned about was approved. _________________ Sex, Drugs, and Rock & Roll - order and quantities subject to change without notice.
