we was on our way home this morning on old hog mtn road near the 4 way stop at hamilton mill parkway when a gwinnett pd coming toward me and turned his lights on and pulled over like he was going to turn around , but he pulled off the road and got out and went across the rd and removed a blue & white election sign and also another one just like it beside his car .

There was more on down the road that wasn't removed . Was wondering of the PD id removing election signs now ?

Most likely just removing them from the right-of-way. There are certain places where signs can and can not be posted.

Removing from the right-of-way. The other signs get pulled up too. Its a saturday-sunday morning ritual.

Because as usual, your elected officials don't know the laws.

I'm curious why the election signs at Coolray Field have been allowed to stay up. That is county property.
